Today was very busy. I withdrew the money for the utilities, and went to apply for the permits needed before hooking up the power. This sounds simple, but between fighting with the Credit Union Services, who put a hold on the money, making it necessary to cancel the deposit until I can get to my own credit union, and driving all over Ft Bend County, it took all day.
My back was killing me by the time I made it home from feeding the critters at the farm. 7 horses, 4 cats, 5 rabbits, 3 cavies, and a duck who thinks he is a rabbit, is the current list of inhabitants requiring feeding.
Tomorrow, Mike and I will start working on fencing off the area where the septic tank and leech field will go. The horses can't be allowed to walk over that area, after it is installed.
I'm meeting with an electrition, and the septic tank man on Monday, and the man from the power company, and the well man on Tuesday. I'm trying to get the ball rolling on the utilities, before my next chemo on Wednesday.
