Well, It's just me and the kid. Husband is off in Spain for the next month. Daughter and Son-in-law are in Fla. for a business weekend. They left very early Friday morning, and are returning Monday evening. I'm dividing my time between the farm and the house in town. I've got tons of packing to do, and lots of furniture to move. Some of it will go in daughter's house, and some of it will go in storage till we get our own mobile home.
The phone line was run on Friday. It isn't connected to the house yet, but it has been run to a hub at the corner of the pasture near the double gates to the barn area. I could tell someone had been in with heavy equipment when I arrived back at the farm after taking the travelers to the airport, and collecting the dogs from the house. We spent all morning and some of the afternoon waiting on the yard man to come, because we needed to lock the dogs on the back porch while they cut the back yard. They never showed up, so I loaded the dogs and their crates into the Vibe and took them out to the farm. We have a small area fenced off for them, so that we don't have to worry about them when we aren't outside. They started barking at bedtime, so I set up their crates in the laundry/mud room, and they slept inside.
