Possum relocation

I have a cage full of opossums to release tomorrow, near the farm. The welding shop where Amy works was cleaning out a shed when they found this mother opossum and her babies inside a box, lined with a plastic bag. Amy planned to take them, and turn them loose today, but we had already fed the horses, so she brought them to us. We put them into a humane trap, and fed them some dog food, We will release them out in the country, away from our farm, but not in any one's backyard. Baby 'possums are cute. They don't stay that way though.

We spent several hours cleaning in the garage today. I freecycled some things. I love freecycle. I hate to throw away anything useful, even if I can't use it. This way, someone gets the use of it, and it stays out of the landfills.

It was HOT today! In the 80s. Summer can't be far behind. We will spend tomorrow at the farm, watching the grandson, and getting some stuff done.
