We now have drainage from the front of the property, to the road! The boggy area is draining as I type. The cattle had filled in the ditch and culvert that runs alongside the driveway at one spot, and the water had no place to go, and just backed up into a bog. After much work, it is cleared, and the water was still flowing to the roadside ditch as we headed home.
Son-in-law cooked up a brisket that was so tender you could cut it with a fork, along with potato salad, macaroni salad, and cole slaw. We ate well, and sat around a campfire, relaxing from a hard days work. Thank-you to all the friends who showed up to help. You are all awesome! I'm the last one awake, and I'm heading to bed now.
