Next week's schedule update...
It looks like I'll be at MDACC 4 days next week. I checked last night, and they have added another appointment for my neurosurgen on Friday, after seeing the radiation oncologist on Thursday...I wonder how much a hotel room would compared to a 2 hour round trip, and parking, 4 days in a row?

Check and see if there is any special housing you can be offered, sort of like a Ronald McDonald's house for adults. When my mom was in the hospital, we were offered something like this, but my dad lied within an hour and I slept in the room with her. Also, ask your oncology nurse; s/he may know of discounted hotels and such.
