I have only 6 more radiation treatments. One more the same as I've been getting, and 5 of a different sort, in a different position. My skin is a mess. I'm sensitive to tapes, and where they have taped over marks on my skin, I've broken out in a rash. I'm putting Hydro cortisone on it, and Gel-Magic pads, which helps, but it will be a while before I'm all healed up.
I'm going to have a party to celebrate finishing up my treatment. The last one will be Monday July 14. On July 19, I'm holding a party at the farm. We will grill Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sausage, etc, with potato salad, beans, watermelon, a cake, and after dark fireworks!
This weekend we fenced off the area between the barn and the small pasture. This is so that we could put the old mare in this small area, and the other horses in her pasture. They are supposed to be pouring foundations for my daughter's mobile home this week, and now they won't have to worry about horses helping, or getting out. Moving out to the farm is getting closer...
I've been working on a memory book about my friend Janet, who died suddenly back in May. I've been saving email notes from different SCA lists, and I've compiled them into 7 two sided pages, and 2 one sided pages, plus 1 two sided page of pictures from different SCA events she rode in. I'm making 4 copies, 1 for her husband, James/Telbyrn, 1 for her parents, 1 for her sister who lives here in town, and 1 for myself.
