I'm having a party to celebrate the end of my cancer treatment, and the return of my unrestricted life. If you know me in real life, and you know where the farm is, or have my cell phone number, and want to come to the party, call me on my cell for directions, or just come on out. We are gathering starting at 2:00 this afternoon. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, watermelon, home made potato salad, fresh strawberries, cake, soft drinks, and, after dark, fireworks.
I'm so happy to be finished with my treatment! YEAH!!!!! I just have to get my skin healed up, and regain the rest of my strength, (and lose the 20 pounds I gained during chemo).
I have a horse shoer coming out this afternoon to trim up feet, and put shoes back on Birdie's front feet. I'm going to go test Bird and Indy tomorrow, for going back to work. They said, because I'm a long time employee, and they know I can ride, that they will go easy on some of the test. I hope we are up for this...
