MDACC update...

Home from MDACC. Tests went well yesterday. Today, I met with one of my team oncologist, as my primary is out of town.

Due to many different prescriptions, over several years, and a new one for a sleep aid, I brought all my drugs with me, because I wanted to talk to someone about various different ones. When the Dr came in, she had two parmasicts residents with her. I got to sit down with them, go over my drugs, and make sure I'm using them correctly, and safely. Totally unplanned, but a real bonus for me.

Tests showed not much change. Those 2 tumors are still growing slowly. They didn't
give me chemo, as they want my blood levels to be stable for next week. I did get the Dopler study done. Though she wasn't supposed to say, I think the tech said there were no clots seen. What this means as far as my possible future blood clots I'll find out when I discuss the official results of the dopler study on Friday.

A good friend met Mike and I at MDACC and bought us lunch. It is good to have so many friends.

Tomorrow afternoon, we meet the radiation oncologist...
