I meet with the radiation oncologist today, signed permission to treat, and am set for Monday morning Gamma Ray Knife treatment for my brain tumor. EARLY Monday. I need to check in at 6:30, which means we need to leave the farm by 5:30.

I also have to go to MDACC on Sunday afternoon, to have an IV catheter put in for the procedure. That makes 5 trips to MDACC in 1 week. An hour each way...

Though this is an outpatient procedure, they don't want me going all the way back to the farm on Monday, just in case I should start to seize, or bleed, so I'll need to stay with a friend, or in a motel Monday night. After that, I can return to the farm, and resume my normal routine.
