Friends make world go around! I've had the most awesome weekend! Thank-God for friends!
Saturday Linda and Jim came out to the farm, and helped Mike and I move furniture into the house. Most of the major stuff is moved. There may be some shelves in the barn still to move, and there are boxes and totes of stuff to be brought over, sorted, weeded through, and put away, but the major moving is done. My dryer is in the laundry room, waiting for me to switch out the plug to match the one in the wall. I picked the new one up yesterday...
Sunday, another friend, Dave came over with his power tools, a trailer with lumber, and concrete, and proceeded, with Mike's help, to build us a safe back porch! No more balancing 2 steps down, pulling the door towards yourself, sometime battling the wind, trying to carry groceries, or anything! I can walk right up and open the door! I can even set stuff down and have room to open the door. I'm truly blessed with really great friends. Thank-You, Thank-You, Thank-You!!!!
