Well, it looks like my eye infection is Herpes. I've been back to MDACC the last 2 days, and will be returning today, to see a corneal specialist, as the virus is eroding into my corneas. My eyes are very painful right now, though not as bad today as yesterday. I'm taking my pain medication so that I can stand to open my eyes. When I awoke yesterday, my eyes were worse, to the point of not being able to open them at all due to extrema pain... A couple of pain pills later, and I was feeling somewhat better. At my appointment, they said that the eyes were worse...I'm now on anti-viral drops, Valtrex oral antiviral pills, and an antibiotic ointment. I feel like there is already some improvement...
We are planning on eating Thanksgiving dinner at my niece's house on Thursday, and a second feast here at the farm on Saturday...to include several farm raised ducks.
