Monday evening

I found a new way to the farm. It shaves 3-4 miles off the trip, and is quicker, too. Instead of 31 miles, it is 27 miles from house to farm.

The horses are doing great! They all ate their food tonight, instead of 1/2 of them being too interested in getting back to the field, to eat.

I moved Nermal out to the farm today, and we finally got the hot wire hooked up. I left my horse trailer out there, as I won't need it again until Thursday.

I called the power company today. It will be 48 hours before I can call the service provider, but I have my ID number. I don't know how much it will cost, but I'm going to have electric at the farm ASAP.

I'm calling around tomorrow to get some idea how much a septic system will cost, and I need to call well companies to see what we need to do to get the well up and working. It is only 90 feet deep, and needs to be much deeper if we are going to drink the water.

We have named the farm Little Moon Farm, after my first horse.
