Sunday evening

We spent the day slogging in the mud, rebuilding fence at the farm. The cattle rancher had cut it in 2 places so that the cows could eat the grass in there, but they hadn't,and it is perfect for introducing the horses to the farm.
We now have a several acre pasture, surrounded by fence. We have it all flagged so the horses can see it, and most of the posts have the extended insulators on them. We need to take a cordless drill or 2 out there to drill pilot holes for the wooden post extenders. The posts are weathered ceder, and we couldn't hammer the nails that came with them into the wood. As soon as we have the extenders on all the posts, we can string up the electric 'rope' hot wire, connect the charger, and sink the ground rods. We will be ready to move the horses to the farm. Yeah!!!

I found another small pond on the property. That makes 6. Three are large enough to use a canoe, or row boat, and 3 small ones that the animals can drink from.

Thank-you to Tom, Amy, and Harriot for all your help. Mike and I couldn't have done it without you.
