Friday 12/7/07

Today started out early. I slept at the farm, and I didn't sleep well. I was up before 7:00 Am. I took some lovely pictures of the sunrise, walked around the ponds, spreading ant poison as I strolled. I fed the 7 horses, and while they ate, I walked the fence line and found 4 places where the fence was grounded. I fixed them and turned the horses back out.

Nermal has a gash on her neck. I think she was fighting with one of the ferals. It isn't new, but I took her to the vet and dropped her off for treatment, on my way home.

Before I headed home, I put some repair plates on the fiberglass ladder that the previous owner left out there. The hinges were trying to pull out of the ladder, so I drilled through the attachment and bolted a flat piece of metal over it, and bolted the plate in several different places. I started for the house about 11:30. dropped the cat off, and that is when things started to fall apart

I left my camera, and cell phone in the pocket of the fleece vest I was wearing early this morning. It is one I wear for work, and I put it in the trailer.

When I got home, my arm felt 'funny'. I needed a bath, so went to take one, and noticed my left arm is swollen from my fingers to my shoulder.

My son-in law had his hernia repaired this morning and is in recovery. We have the grandson. Daughter is in route to pick up grandson and drop him at his other grandmother's, so I can go to the emergency room to have my arm checked out.

Luckily, Mike took today off. He was planning to do his Christmas shopping, but we need to see what is happening with me first.

I'll update this later.
