Busy day. Bought the rest of the posts for the barn, and a gate we needed to close off the back of the barn from the rest of the area.
My sister, her 2 daughters, 1 niece's fiance, and his 2 kids, along with my sister's foster son came out to the farm. They rode horses, and fished in the pond, as well as the kids riding bikes and just playing. Everyone seemed to have fun, though there was some tension between 2 of the boys over some of the riding toys. You would think with 3 trikes, and 3 boys, everyone would be happy, but Grandson's new red trike was coveted by all
We got 4 post holes dug, and the posts braced for setting in concrete tomorrow. Everything is set out for tomorrow. We will pour concrete, and fasten some of the boards onto the sides of the barn, then dig more post holes for the second row of posts. It most likely won't be under roof, by the cold snap, but they will have a wind break to get behind, and we will have a solid wall to feed them against.
My arm is doing pretty good. Still not back to normal size, but not as swollen as it was before. I'm wearing the sleeve all day most days, and it seems to be helping.
